Llifon John Ellis

Head of Strategy

Llifon was appointed as the Strategic Head of e-sgol in April 2022 after spending 12 years as a secondary teacher and senior leader in an all-through school in mid-Wales with responsibilities for the Sixth Form and the Welsh department. He has worked closely with e-sgol coordinators over the years to offer his pupils a wide range of experiences.

As part of his role with e-sgol, Llifon’s main duties are to lead an enthusiastic team of innovative coordinators in ensuring continuity of various e-sgol developments and maintaining the quality of provision as the project grows from strength to strength across Wales.

Beyond his e-sgol responsibilities, Llifon enjoys spending time with his wife, Nia, and their daughters, Mirain Grug & Mali Enlli. He is also a member of Machynlleth Male Voice Choir and an editor of a local monthly newspaper; Y Blewyn Glas.
