Since its establishment in 2018, e-sgol has evolved into a national initiative supporting schools, practitioners and learners across Wales through innovative approaches to online and hybrid learning.
Funded by the Welsh Government, e-sgol is committed to achieving equity in education through technology, ensuring that geographical location, school size or local circumstances do not limit the educational opportunities available to learners.
Our Strategic Plan 2026–2029 sets out an ambitious vision for the next three years, building on our achievements while responding to the evolving needs of education in Wales.
Underpinned by our core values of Quality, Equity and Collaboration, the Plan identifies three overarching strategic priorities:
Broadening access to high-quality educational opportunities by extending the reach of e-sgol, developing new partnerships and exploring innovative approaches to teaching and learning across Wales.
Continuously improving the quality, consistency and impact of our existing provision through effective evaluation, evidence-informed practice and meaningful engagement with learners, practitioners and partners.
Building a sustainable and resilient national initiative through effective governance, strong partnerships, professional learning and a continued commitment to innovation.
Together, these priorities will guide our work across primary and secondary education, professional learning, digital resources and collaborative provision, ensuring that e-sgol continues to make a meaningful contribution to the educational landscape in Wales.
