Cymru Quiz
Fascinating artefacts and stories that celebrate Welsh identity and heritage with a quiz woven into each session, testing learners’ knowledge in real time!
e-steddfod
The e-steddfod celebrates the Welsh Expressive Arts online between schools to ensure that learners have the opportunity to join an Eisteddfod and compete on stage or in school work.
Schools have praised the project as an effective way of:
• promoting co-working between schools all over Wales.
• developing schools’ Welsh curriculum and making pupils “excited to use the language”.
• maximising the effect of pieces learnt in preparation for school and Urdd Eisteddfods.
What the teachers say
The event made our pupils excited to use their Welsh and made the staff feel confident for our pupils to compete in more events such as the Urdd Eisteddfod.
Sarah Corbett
Caersws CP School
The event was organized so well and all the updates before the day were a great help. Pupils have enjoyed listening to other schools' performances, and learners who don't normally compete have had the opportunity to do so. The classwork competitions were also a great addition. The presenters were brilliant with the competitors, and everyone felt comfortable.

e-lection
The e-lection project ran with the Senedd Cymru Team and provides learners with an opportunity to learn about the work that the Senedd and its Members does.
What the teachers say
Children have more understanding of the Senedd…not something I would have taught to them… It’s an authentic, relevant topic for the CfW.

What the teachers say
Learners enjoy the chance to listen to famous individuals from a variety of backgrounds explain how the Welsh language has helped them reach the heights of their careers. The subtitles on the English medium versions really help those who are learning Welsh as a second or additional language too.
Rebecca Watts
Ysgol Bro Tawe
The videos allow learners to hear Welsh being used actively, and how to use the language correctly themselves.
