Nia Jones

Operational Coordinator

Nia started in her role as e-sgol Operational Coordinator in July 2022. Amongst her duties, Nia coordinates the Carlam Cymru project nationally, the yearly e-sgol conference, and manages social media and public relations on behalf of e-sgol.

Nia has worked in education throughout her career – as a primary school teacher, teaching English to children and adults in Catalonia, supporting policy on qualifications in Welsh Government, and as part of the Aberystwyth University marketing team.

In addition to her work with e-sgol, Nia is a part-time Welsh Tutor with Learn Welsh, teaching Welsh to adults online. When not working, Nia enjoys music (singing and playing piano and flute), walking in the mountains, following art and learning languages.
